Everything we do is guided by the values behind the name Veritay—truth, integrity, and service. We believe accounting should be built on accuracy, transparency, and trust. Every financial record is handled with care, every client is treated with respect, and every decision is made with honesty and professionalism. These values shape how we communicate, how we serve our clients, and how we build lasting relationships.

Taylor Yates, EA
Helping small business owners is the reason I started Veritay Accounting. I know firsthand that running a business comes with enough challenges without having to worry about bookkeeping and financial records. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people behind each business, understanding their goals, and helping them gain confidence through accurate financial information. My goal is to build lasting relationships by providing dependable accounting support that allows business owners to focus on what they do best.
I earned my bachelor's degree in accounting from Utah Valley University (UVU) and am an Enrolled Agent (EA). I'm also continuing my education by pursuing a Master's in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation at Western Governors University (WGU). I believe learning is a lifelong commitment, and I'm dedicated to continually expanding my knowledge so I can provide the highest level of service to my clients.
Outside of accounting, you'll usually find me on the mountain biking trails or enjoying the outdoors. Mountain biking has taught me the value of preparation, persistence, and embracing every challenge along the way. Those same qualities shape how I approach my work—showing up consistently, paying attention to the details, and helping business owners build a strong financial foundation that supports long-term success.
